what the heck does that mean? and how do i fix it? I can
not play any games now HELP::::
Genuine "out of memory" errors have only two possible causes:
1. The hard drive is full, thereby preventing Windows from creating
the necessary virtual memory paging file space needed to meet the
total memory requirements of the computer.
2. The maximum size limit for the virtual memory paging file has been
set too low, thereby artificially creating the same problem as a full
hard drive.
However there are a number of known instances where false "out of
memory" messages can be produced.
Therefore in order to be able to help you to diagnose the actual
underlying cause of your particular error message we need to have a
lot more detailed information about your computer and about the
circusmtances surrounding the error.
How much RAM does your computer have?
How much free space is there on the hard drive?
What are the current settings for the Virtual Memory Paging file (see
Control Panel - System - Advanced and click on the Settings button in
the Performance (top) section. In the Performance Options window
click on the Advanced tab and then click on the Change button in the
Virtual Memory (bottom) section).
Which application are you using when the error comes up and what
specific task or function within that application causes the error?
Good luck
