Steve

I am working with a nearly 80 K file which keeps crashing
with the message,,, "Not enough Memory to Continue..cancel
Undo?"...I am also getting a "Not enough Resources to
display completely" message.
There is plenty of memory in my system, but I am thinking
that the 'clipboard' may have a limit on size?

ANy ideas or help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

There is an internal memory manager within Excel, so your
system memory is part of the equation.

I had the same problems that you have - I'm not a pro.

Either Excel 2000 or Excel 2002 expanded the limit.
However, one of the service packs I think "fiddled" some
more with it (I'm much less certain about that).

I'm trying to find out now if Excel 2003 expanded the
internal limits meaningfully. It's getting easier and
easier these days to run out of space!

I may have mis-typed. I think the limit is 100 mega-bytes,
not kilo bytes, so my answer may be irrelevant to the problem.
