NOT DETECTING DISC?

EVERYTIME I INSERT A DISC BLANK,AUDIO,MOVIE OR OTHERWISE INTO THE CD DRIVE IT
STILL SAYS INSERT BLANK DISC LIKE ITS NOT DETECTING THE DISC.I HAVE A DELL
DE051 WITH WINDOWS XP

You can try using a disk cleaner, but probably your optical drive has died
and should just be replaced.

And have Dell send you a new keyboard, the capslock on your current one
seems to be stuck.

I've had this problem when I put the blank disc in before I'm prompted
for it. I have no idea why it happens, but when I left the drive empty
and waited for the program to prompt to insert disk and then put the
disk in, it works.
