Hi there.
After a site was redesigned in another program, I needed to get the
FrontPage forms working again. I opened the page with the form in FP,
and published the website, choosing to upload only the form page and
the confirmation page.

All forms work properly, taking the user to a confirmation page.
Form page sample URL- www.mysite.com/formpage.htm
After submitting the form, the user sees the confirmation page with
this URL shown:
www.mysite.com/_vti_bin/shtml.exe/formpage.htm

Now, insteading of reverting to the root directory of the website, all
links from the confirmation page are in the www.mysite.com/_vti_bin/shtml.exe/
folder
Why are we stuck in the FP extension folders?

Thanks so much in advance for your help.

Virginia

Post the real URL to the online Form to look at

How did you choose to only upload the form and confirmation page?

Hi Thomas.
The rest of the site was uploaded with FTP.

That's a no-no when the site has server extensions. Publish the whole site
via http.

The extensions are most likely corrupted now, and will need to be
repaired/reinstalled by the host.
