Not connected to the internet

Anybody have a solution......
I installed ms antispyware in April. It would no update,
saying i was not connected to the internet....even though
was on many other sites at the time!!!!!
I removed the program but decided to re-install today.
Surprise surprise...the same problem.
I am cetainly connected normally 24hrs a day

Check to see if your FireWall is blocking from receiving updates.

Firewall settings MUST be set to allow microsoft.com.

The domain spynet.com, which people used to manually
download the updates is infact Microsoft Windows
AntiSpyware Beta's home page.
