Not boot after upgrade

I am having similar problems to others who have posted
recently.
My machine runs Windows 2000 Professional.
I ran "updates" from Microsoft.
Turned off machine to reboot per instructions,
and the machine will not start. Will start in SAFE mode
only.
How can I get it running again, or undo the upgrade???

You can boot re-boot under f8 again and pick the last

good OS and see if it boots. If not, boot up under safe
mode and use the control panel for software removal and
pick components and remove the last upgrade or update
which is probably kb835732...
