Not being able to edit text

I am having a problem were i saved my PopwerPoint onto a disc then
transferred the file onto a new computer. Upon opening the file i worked on
my presentation and saved it. The next day i went to edit a title and place
another picture, were i discovered it would not let me do anything. I cannot
save, i cannot type in the text box and i cannot delete my slide or any of
the text. It seems that something is locked but i do not know. My
presentation is playing fine but i even cannot right click on the slide or
can i paste, or insert a picture.....PLEASE HELP!!! I do not have the
original copy due to the fact i'm away on business and need to present my
PowerPoint....Thanks
 
The computer i started it on is...but i'm not sure if my dad's laptop is or
not. i don't think so.

That'd explain it then. Your dad may have gotten a demo version of PPT with the PC
or downloaded it. When the demo's time runs out, it reverts to "reduced
functionality mode" ... or in English, it does exactly what you described. Nice,
thorough description, by the way. Thanks!
