try disabling all the programs that are probably loading at start up.....
click start>run and type 'msconfig'
remove the tick from those programs you do not want to run at start up such
as microsoft office, realplayer, aol, messenger, etc . the only ones you
really need to leave alone are your anti virus and firewall. if you're not
sure what an entry relates to, do a search for the file name and you will
discover where the file resides, e.g a search for 'ccapp' reveals that it is
in c:\program files\common files\symantec, thus telling you that it is part
of symantec and probably relates to the firewall or anti virus.
