M me Dec 1, 2003 #3 removing them from local admin group most times isnt enough. We have to give our users "power user" rights, and they can install almost anything. So normal user rights should solve it. Else you might perhaps try to do it via NTFS Permissions - those can be set via group policy. btw, does the "windows installer" policy affect something of that kind too? Or is that only for MSI packages?!
