Not able to tick box to make Contacts folder appear in address bo.

The box to tick to make the contacts folder appear as my address book is not
available. It is visible but shaded.
 
Then add the Outlook Address Book to your profile.
If you don't know how. provide your Outlook version.
 
I have Outlook 2003 and can not get my contacts into the address book.

Forgive me - but I read your reply as "....if you don't know how, provide
your Outlook version". Did I miss something???
