not able to see other systems in network

Installed the network drivers for Win2000.This sys is self
pinging and the local ip address also but not the other
systems and the gateway.Lan connectivity icon is showing
in sytem tray but recieving byte is zero.What may be the
problem.Is it with man card.
 
May be mismatch in the network speed like 10mbs or 100 mbps or duplex and
simplex
Try by setting it to auto and check with other cables also.
