not able to play in other players

After saving the video when using the windows mover maker I was not able to
play it in windows media player or any other player, I keep getting a message
that its the wrong file type, but when I saved it I wasn't allowed to save it
under mpeg or video file type?????? this is driving me nuts, please help

Did you save by going to...
File / Save Movie File? Or...
typing...Ctrl+P.

This will result in a .wmv file
that will play in WMP.

Thankyou so much, I just started using the program so I was a little
confused. I can finally watch them in the player because of your
