One of my Access databases is giving me a problem. This
is Access 2002 (but it was developed on Access 2000).
When I go into design view on a form, I get the message:
"You do not have exclusive access to the database at this
time. If you proceed to make changes, you may not be able
to save them later."
However, I am the only one in the database! I checked to
be sure that the <database>.ldb goes away when I exit, and
it does (therefore, no one else is in the database).
THis happened before and I thought I cured it by using the
Repair and Compact Utility, but that is not working now.
(That is, I created a new db using the utitily, but it
still gives me the error when I try to change design of an
existing form>)
Please help! I need to make these changes!
