not a valid Win32 application

Downloaded the program this morning 01 Feb 05, on trying
to run it a dialog boxes comes up saying
MicrosoftAntiSpywareInstall.exe is not a valid Win32
application. Could the file on the microsoft download
server(size 6379 Kb) be corrupt? The size of the
downlaoaded file is 5.50kb. Please shed more light. Thanks

Your download failed. Download the installer from Microsoft again.
 
I get the same thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the reason I downloaded it again is because it was giving
me "error 101" after having used it for weeks... my
netscape got deleted, and now I realize it's that dam
program!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm not downloading it til they
fix it right.
 
after downloading it again, it says it cannot execute the
file... like I said, it worked before, but now it won't
even startup the 2nd time around.
