Nostromo n52 Gamepad driver

I'm having difficulty getting this gamepad to work. The XP driver will seem
to install properly, however when the device is plugged in, the key-mapping
software (Loadout Manager) doesn't see the device. Further poking around
revealed that the XP .inf doesn't work with Vista.

I realize it's not Microsoft's problem to provide a driver, however if they
could put some pressure on Belkin to provide drivers (both 32 and 64 bit),
I'm sure many in the gaming community would appreciate it. I know I would.

In the interim, are there any known work-arounds to get this thing moving?
It's holding up my testing of this RC. If World of Warcraft doesn't play my
way, I don't use Vista.

i have a n50 game pad that is doing the same thing.
the loadout manager and the editor are marked as not signed
and the permissions are set to read only for users, so vista loads
the loadout manager but doesn't let you change anything because
users don't have permissions to change it.
until it gets fixed or signed the only thing you can do is
use it as a usb joystick and assign the keys in your game after enabling
joystick
like you have to do with linux.
it works but is real limited

I have also tried to use the Nostromo N52 without success in Vista
RC1. However, what’s worse is that if I try to uninstall the driver I
get a BSOD.

I put in a email to belkin and all they had to say was.
"We don't have a driver package for Vista"
hhmm gee thanks I hadn't noticed
LOL

looked into the loadout manager software last night,
it looks like the software works fine in vista and the only thing
stopping it from working is vista is blocking the device drivers
from loading because they're not signed.
if there was a way to force the device driver to load instead
of the default ms generic hid one then the loadout manager
would detect the hardware and work.
