Norton Security update during presentation

[GWH]

In most cases power point blocks any other program from breaking through
during presentation mode, but Norton seems to be able to tell the whole
audience during a presentation that you require a security update. Is there a
way to stop it?

If not, what is a better Security solution that won't step on PPT.

How embarrassing !

I'm not a fan of norton - too many problems - too much of a performance hit.
A quick fix would be turn off norton during a slideshow.

I'm not sure what other security software would also pop up messages over
your presentation.

I agree about turning it off. If you don't need Internet access while you're
presenting, you're not in danger.

I'm sure there are more that I haven't thought of. You probably need to
write down every pop up that happens over a couple of weeks, and deal with
it. Oy vey!
