Running Winsows XP Home and Norton 2003 AntiVirus.

I renewed my subscription on-line, followed their directions exactly but I
keep getting a message that the subscription key is invalid.

Anyone know the solution? I went to Support, but it takes 3 days to get a
reply.

Thanks, Allen

Make sure you are reading the key correctly. The number "1" can look
like the letter "l" and the number "0" can look like the letter "O".

Don't have any ones nor zeros. Any other ideas?

I'm getting the same problem but with NAV 2002, which I found out is no longer
supported, although they were okay with me supporting them with my credit card.
The phone number next to the temp charge of my online statement says to call
800-441-7234 and all circuits are busy. The online support just sends me to
links for archived knowledge base etc. Might have purchased the newest version
if I'd known beforehand that my software wasn't good now I guess I'll switch to
McAfee so KMA Symantec.

I have 2002 and I keep getting the definition updates on a regular basis. In
fact, two of them today alone.

After three days of trying to type in my Subscription Key, I phoned
Symantec. They told me that all Keys gotten over the weekend were invalid.
She gave me a good one and I'm now OK.

Thanks for posting back. I'm glad it's fixed.

I got some satisfaction also. After frustrations with trying to get through on
the phone, I uninstalled Norton Antivirus and this morning I finally got
through to request a refund. But they only offered give me a credit if I
bought an upgrade or adjust the expiration date if I reinstalled NAV 2002. I
opted for the latter since my OEM package doesn't qualify for the current
upgrade rebate deal. So now my Norton info panel says my subscription expires
in 90 days. The customer support person says that when I'm within 30 days of
August 5, live update will fix it to extend it a year from this August. I'm
giving them the benefit of the doubt for now. I guess if it doesn't work I'll
uninstall and reinstall it again every 90 days.
I wonder how many customers tried to renew last weekend and had these hassles?
