Hi,

I'm creating a company virus protection strategy for our small company
and I've got a question:

I can either re-subscribe to the virus update service each year (about £20)
or
I can update to the new version (approx £35)

Why would I consider updating if I can just re-subscribe for less money?

Thanks for your thoughts

Updating saves both money and the procedure of installing NAV.

Re-subscribing saves both money and the procedure of installing the
new version of NAV.

Personally, I'd suggest looking at a more business friendly anti-virus
solution like F-Secure Anti-Virus for Client security <http://www.f-
secure.com>, Norman Virus Control <http://www.norman.com or Sophos Anti-
Virus <http://www.sophos.com>...

Why?

1) You can negotiate a multi year license with the vendor that will
cover all your updates and/or upgrades during the license term.

2) Centralized management and administration. Rather than having to run
for machine to machine you can push the installations from a central
location (you can also force updates in an emergency).
