Norton Internet Security Issue

Running XP Pro and Office XP Pro. Running Norton Internet Security 2004. Have a verizon email account, properly configured and After Norton Liveupdate on 2004-03-25, the "Send" button is no longer available in email address. It was working properly up through 2004-03-19. I can still get email through send/receive, but only if I disable incomong email Virus and Spam scans
Anyone got any ideas? HELP
 
I believe the problem is with script blocking - if you disable only the AV
scan, does it work? You really don't need inbound scanning - antispam is
more useful.

You can also try a new profile and reset the toolbars...

I am required to disable BOTH anti-spam and incoming spam to get mail, otherwise timeout (set for three minutes) pops up in about 30 secionds
I have now tried a remove and reinstall of Outlook without getting my send button back, AND tried to remove the account, reboot, remove outlook, reboot, install Outlook, and re-add the account. STILL no Send button
This is frustrating
