Norton Internet Security '07

I'm having trouble installing this on my computer for some reason. This is a
new computer, four months old. I had NIS '06 installed and everything, as
always, ran fine. I uninstalled it to load the new software, but the computer
will not run the software. The software was not giving me any feedback, but
is is finally stating that, "this product requires a 32-bit edition of
Windows XP". I have Windows VP Pro, as well as all of the current updates
avaliable from MS. What gives...

If the computer is 4 months old and NIS 07 is presumably even newer, I'd
strongly suggest asking the supplier and/or symantec for help. Only the
supplier knows what kind of mischief they have wrought on the standard
windows setup, and only symantec know what no doubt utterly stupid things
are wrong with their awful software.
