I've recently installed Norton Internet Security (broadband home user -
ADSL) and it's OK (a bit strict for my liking).

Should I disable the built-in XP firewall? Or should I run both?

Cheers.

.Most people will tell you to disable the xp firewall.I
however have been running both for over 7 months without
any problem what so ever.

Greetings --

You don't _have_ to disable the built-in firewall, but it would be
a good idea.

Running two software firewalls simultaneously is unnecessary and
can sometimes cause conflicts, possibly negating the protection of
both. In any event, having two firewalls running simultaneously is an
unnecessary drain on system resources.
