Norton Disk Optimser

I've got Norton System Works 2002. The disk optimiser won't work under FAT32
on XP Pro.

Now the disk optimiser is appearing as a greyed-out option.

How do I solve these two problems?

Also, is it possible to convert from FAT32 to XP's NTFS without reformatting
and reinstalling?

Have you tried Live Update?
 
Go to Start> Run
type cmd, press enter
in the window type:
convert c: /fs:ntfs

wait..
wait...
wait....
done.
