According to google, ccApp is a necessary part of Norton AV and Internet
Security. Fine, but it seems to eat up all the memory on our Win98ME
system. I recently used LiveUpdate, so I have the most recent version.
Does any body know how to fix that problem? Thanks.

WTF does this have to do with the problem??

Thanks. The Knowledge Bases talk a lot about ccApp.exe using all the CPU
but not about all the memory.

I suspect my problem is the result of ccApp crashing (why?) will a lot of
memory assigned. Before getting the "not enough memory" error, there is a
dialog box on the screen but it is completely white with no text except for
a "Continue" box. After I click that and try to use Outlook or anything, I
get the error. If I shoot down ccApp from the Task Manager, I can continue.
This is the first thing in the morning and I have NAV scheduled to run every
night at 2AM. Just running NAV during the day doesn't trigger the problem.

What I found with Norton was that if it has a problem that isn't easy to
fix, I uninstall it and then install it again.
Seems to be the fastest way.
Post back if you get a good solution.
Maybe you also have too many programs running upon first boot.
