do i still need norton antivirus installed if i choose
the ms spyware solution?
 
Yes, do not confuse spyware with viruses.
They need separate tools for each.
 
YES! You definitely need to run ONE anti-virus program, ONE firewall
program, and several anti-spyware programs. Anti-virus and firewall
programs need low level access to your system and running more than one of
them at a time could cause problems. However, anti-spyware is different.
None currently available has developed into a catch all program. It's a
good idea to run three or four if you do P2P, IM, or surf questionable
websites.
