Norton Antivirus

On windows XP, my Norton 2003 antivirus stopped working. There is a conflict
with msiexec.16.

I can not re-install Norton unless i safe boot w/o Startup. Once installed,
it works fine in safe mode but Norton fails in regular mode.

It appears to have started on a recent autoupdate from microsoft.

Help!!!
 
I'd suggest asking this in a newsgroup related to Windows XP (they all start
microsoft.public.windowsxp), or else see whether Symantec has any support
for Norton Antivirus.

This newsgroup is for questions about queries in Access, the database
product that's part of Office Professional.

Admin,

You could try reposting to one of the symantec.support.* newsgroups, or
emailing or calling symantec tech support.

This newsgroup is for Microsoft Software, public discussion, Microsoft
Access, Queries (QueryDefs).
