Did you know whay Windows Vista is blocking if you install Norton AntiVirus
?

Thanks,
Edi

Hm. not sure... Remove DEFENDER before installing Norton. Norton installed
fine here.

I use Norton 2007.
Once the disk inserted I was informed to go to the Norton site to download
the Noton 2007 for Vista.
I inserted my code and all went fine.
No trouble at all.

NIS 2007 is nothing like the earler ones. Fast, helpful and no hog.
Actually its still a hog, just less of one ;-) They did manage to improve it
some, but it still top of the heap for hoggin system resources and
ineffective protection.

I reinstalled and installed Norton Antivirus 2007 using Norton Removal tool, many times and it doesn't work.
After reinstalling Antivirus I get error message "LU1825: LiveUpdate could not process an update".
Removed LiveUpdate according to their tech support and installed new one for Vista.
Now, any time I reboot system, pop-up "Preparing your Symantec Product to run on Windows Vista -> Failed to migrate Virus Defs 0x80004005". All Antivirus setting menu are gray up.
Finally Symantec tech support gave up.

Sorry. I solve the problem related to "The Windows Installer Service could not be accessed."
Missing registry key "ImagePath" to msiexec.exe.

It also solve the problem with installation of other fixes. Before, program installations couldn't recognize Vista or stop.
