Yes. Uninstall Norton (you'll need their debris cleanup tool to get rid of
all the crap the uninstaller leaves behind), then do a custom re-install and
DO NOT INSTALL any form of email scanning feature. No, this won't bring
back your toolbar, but it will save you the untold headaches you WILL
eventually suffer if you leave any form of email scanning active. Norton
"Anti" products are far more invasive and disruptive than any malware
they're designed to keep out. Mind you, an uninstall/re-install may well
bring back your toolbar, but you're better off without it and you will get
"I told you so"s when it does more than disappear and trashed your data.

Why is my Norton Antispam Toolbar all of a sudden disapearing?
How can I get it back. COM Add-in shows Norton Antispam Plug-In as
selected.
Under View/Toolbars the item Norton Antispam is not visible, which it
was
before.
Thanks for your help!
