Ok, I've got Norton Anti-virus on one comp which is constantly connected to
the net and recives updates.
What I want to do is transfers the virus updates from my comp on to a
laptop. The laptop has Norton 2003 installed, but it has no modem or any
other way to recive the updates from the net. Is there a file I can copy on
floppy or something?

Have a look at this page from which you can download the definitions:

I don't know of a way of tranfering updates installed on your desktop
to your laptop but it's easy to keep several computers updated with
one download. Choose the "Save" (rather than "Open") option and
download the AV defiitions file onto a CD. I think you can also
download smaller files onto a series of floppies.

Here's the URL to the Intelligent Updater page

Once you've updated your desktop protection, insert the disc into your
laptop and click on the program update icon. I doubt you'll have any
problems.
