Norton 2004: Small pop up icon while sending email gone

Hi all!

I recently noticed that norton's small icon in right bottom corner
doesn't shop up while sending email with attachments, although
everything's setp in norton to scan outgoing attachments
any idea why?

The cause could be 3 reasons.

1. Its been turned off in the Options.
Run Norton Anti Virus, go to Options.
Go to Email, Advanced.
Check the Display progress indicator when sending email.

2. The computer is running faster than it used to, or your sending small
attachments that scan so quickly the window does not appear.

3. Norton is being dumb and/or gay.

For me it typically appears *behind* the OE window for some reason, so can
be seen if you minimize OE at the rigtht moment.

I used NAV 2004 for a few weeks, and noticed that the email progress
window was hidden behind Outlook Express. A strange bug with the program.
I did notice the small scan icon in the system tray.
