Norton 2002 vs. 2004

I posted this previously, but did not receive any responses.

I'm currently using Norton Systemworks 2002 on a Win XP machine.
Since I subscribe to automatic updates of the virus program, my machine is kept current
(I hope). Is there any advantage to upgrading to Antivirus 2004 over just keeping what I
have and keep it set for automatic updates?

According to Symantec, they are no longer supporting 2002.
