Norton 2001 AV

I have a new computer with a trial period for Norton 2004 AV. When the trial
period
ran out I uninstalled it and installed my version 2001. It installed and
tells me I have
180 plus days till renewal. I go to my other computer that has the same 2001
version
and it tells me it expires Oct 15th. Anyone know what that's all about?

That you are pirating software because you are concurrently installing
"the same 2001 version" on multiple computers. One license, one
computer. If that is not the case, contact Symantec regarding your
concern that they are not providing you with a full subscription. They
are the only ones that can change their registration database.

NAV 2001 has been unsupported for 2 years. I'm surprised that they gave
you a subscription at all. You might continue getting virus signature
updates but don't expect any program updates via LiveUpdate.
