Sticking Northgate (Omnikey 102) Enter key, still sticking
after thorough vacuuming (with the cover removed.) I can
see the return spring underneath and it looks clean. How
can I remove the keytops for a more thorough cleaning?

I wish I knew! That was my favorite keyboard of the early 90s!

My Northgate kbs came with alternative keys for CTRL, etc and a little
tool to pop a key cap off. It was wire loops on a plastic handle. The
loops were squared off. You slipped the loops under a key, one loop on
each side of the post. An upward tug pops the key off.

Never did it, myself.

I think I could make a version of teh tool with some 22ga iron wire.

YMMV. I've only seen a couple models.
