Norman AV

Hi, long time not here!

Someone brought a puter round, cut a story short(that everyone has heard a
trillion times) no av or firewall.
It took me a long while to finally clear them, as i couldnt install av
whilst still present, and i came accross a free av online, called Norman, it
seems ok, installed it as a backup to AVG, along with Kerio firewall.

Never heard of it, has anyone?

The only Norman (NVC) I know of isn't free. What's the URL?

norman virus control by norman data defense? sure i think most of the
regulars around here have heard of it... not sure about an online
version of it, but the regular version has some nifty sandbox
technology as i recall..

Yes thats the one, i had presumed it was free, or free initial download, i
just wanted another AV to scan the puter. i always run spyware stuff to
check
