Hi, I'm new here so excuse any ignorance - other than the questio
itself!

I have 350 year 7 test scores ranging from 5 to 23 out of 25. I hav
arranged them into bins by using the frequency function. Now I hav
charted them and got a very wiggly curve. I know that the results fi
something akin to a normal distribution but how do I get Excel t
smooth the curve enough for me to see the distribution as one smoot
line?

Many thanks for your help

What I would do is calculate the average and standard deviation of the
350 scores, and draw a normal curve based on these values. Tushar Mehta
has a sheet telling how to draw a gaussian curve for a given mean-sd on
his web site (http://tushar-mehta.com).
