Hi Folks,

W98 Epson Stylus Photo. When click on print from any document, paperport
used with scanner, it starts to print, then every 10 seconds it comes up
with red cross, then a message No Paper. There's loads of paper! Then it
will print 2 to 5 lines of black text then another sheet will be fed and
even stopping and shutting of the PC, the printer still carries on.

I have used all the utilities, cleaned ink carts, done line adjustments, it
has the correct drivers. So, why does it say no paper when there is.? It is
set for the correct paper type and size. I was hoping someone has
experienced this and can help me. Thanks! Paul

Just my 2 cents althought it may not help you one bit, but I had the
same experience with my canon printer. It turns out it happened to be
the drivers.

I followed the recommended install procedure which was not a good
thing to do. My symptoms were pretty much the same.. It would print a
line then give an error and not feed, etc etc... sometimes to erratic
to predict.

I would for starters completly uninstall the drivers and remove the
printer complete and delete the printer ports completely.

Then perhaps install the drivers again prior to hooking up your
printer cables.... just something to think about....

Possibly the paper sensor has gone bad.
