Subject: Converting a Word document into Powerpoint

I have a flow chart I produced in Word (2003). Is there an easy way (cutting and pasting?) of turning this into a Power Point slide?

Michael

Assuming that you used a variety of Drawing Elements (text boxes, shapes and
the like) --- you should be able to do the following to move it into
PowerPoint. (At least it works in Word/PowerPoint 2000).

1) Select all of the Drawing Objects at once. The easiest way is to click
the SELECT ARROW at the left edge of the drawing toolbar to activate it --
then "draw" a box that COMPLETELY encompasses ALL of your drawing objects.
(the tiniest corner of an object outside your box -- it will not be
selected).

2) Once all are selected... click on DRAW --> GROUP (on the drawing
toolbar).

Now all of your individuals objects are a single object -- which can then be
copied and pasted onto a PowerPoint Slide. Just have both Word and
PowerPoint open. Select the grouped object in Word.... Click COPY -- then
via the Taskbar switch over to PowerPoint... navigate to or insert the
appropriate slide... and paste.

That should do the trick!

Good Luck.

Thank you very much. I am most grateful.
