When I open Windows Mail I get this error message:

Folder could not be displayed
Windows Mail could not open this folder.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Possible causes are:

Low disk space.

Low memory.

OR:
The screen is blank and it says at the top that there are no messages in the
folders, even though it shows that there are unread message in the inbox,
mail waiting in the outbox and something in drafts.

I want to be able to save my messages so I can send them to a different
email program, but I tried and the export failed...no doubt because of the
error messages I'm getting.

There is information in email that I NEED. Does anyone know what I can do to
at least see my email so I can save them?!?!

THANKS!

Ah well, I ended up downloading Thunderbird after I posted so now I'm going
to see if I can import my messages. Any wisdom about Thunderbird?

All I remember from the last time I tried Thunderbird is that I
could not get it to import any of my Windows Mail messages,
accounts, or contacts, so I gave up on it.
