When I turned on the computer yesterday, my DriveHealth gave me a
warning:

"Drive Health Warning! : The Hard disk Maxtor 6E040L0 s/n XXXXXXXX had
a non-typical SMART attribute value fall. No immediate action is
required. We recommend you to continue disk monitoring with Drive
Health tool."

I also checked it with SpeedFan 4.09, and it seems like the parameter
"Spin Up Time" fell from 253 to 221.

What could this mean? Other drives usually have the values at around
100, but this Maxtor has everything at around 253, and now this
'non-typical value fall'. Anything serious?

Probably not. These non-standard values change all the time.

I think the value in question is just the lowest spin-up seen
so far. May just have been a cold drive (takes a little longer for
spin-up) or an unclean power-up or something like it. I have one older
maxtor with this value at 170 and one with it at 190. I have several
new ones with the value at 252, and one new one that has been rebooted
more often with the value at 206.
