non-transitive trusts

I can't remember for the life of me how to set up trusts
between two forest roots. I know how to set the trust but
i forget how to set up the dns between the 2 so the trust
will work. Any help is greatly appreciated.

DNS is not really going to help you very much. The external trusts are NTLM
based, therefore more of a NetBIOS technical nature than a DNS.

What you will need to do is to set up the LMHosts file on the PDCs at the
two locations to publish for the PDC the server name and domain name for the
trusted domain and PDCs. Review this article as it has all of the
