Has anyone encountered a printer (mobile or desktop) that is appropriate for
printing labels one at a time (one off) that is NOT thermal, that they can
recommend?
I have a customer in a vertical market that is looking for a Pocket PC type
solution that requires a printer where they can print single labels when
necessary but the labels need to be more permanent than thermal which tends
to fade away over time.
Ideally, I would like to find one that also has some sort of SDK that is
appropriate for Pocket PC (CF ready would be even better!) however I have
found it hard to find anything that is not thermal so far.
So maybe a dot-matrix or ink based printer of some sort. Hoping for
Bluetooth, Wifi or IRDA may be looking for too much but any suggestions
would be welcome.
