non supported browser version

I've been attempting to visit a site and it indicates
that I need IE version 3 or higher. I have 6.0. Any ideas
as to what might be happening? I've visited the site
before with no problems. I downloaded and installed the
6.0 service pack which I think might be an issue but
can't be sure. Any Ideas?
