I just replaced ME with XP. Whenever I boot, I'm
prompted to consult the Event Viewer which informs me
that EPLPDXP2 has failed to start. After checking, I
find that the above file is a driver in Windows/System32,
though I can't find a clue as to what it drives. When I
forward the problem over the net to "Support", I get a
message that there is no information on this problem and
to please try a newsgroup.

So here I am. Any ideas will be helpful.

Thank you.

I cannot find any information on EPLPDXP2. See if you can find a
related service in the Control Panel > Administrative Tools > Services
and if so, disable the service.
