non responding program

I have trouble to shut down my computer,it says :ending program and then:
this program is non responding.
My computer just 2 months old,something is wrong??
Thank you for help.
 
have you ran the scans in system tools? defrag etc. check
task manager, see whats running, maybe a conflict.
