PP2003. I thought this'd be easy but pride came and I fell. Given a table of
cells with a number in each, my user would like to click on any number and
have a picture appear.
I can hyperlink the numbers to pictures, but then there's hassle starting,
stopping and restarting different apps.
I can motion-path the pictures, but then they need to move in a particular
order.
I can paste link to another slide, but that gets me the whole slide so needs
a lot of different slides. This is my current option (12 slides with lots of
hyperlinks) but it's hardly elegant.
Can someone suggest something better?

Hi Jonathan

I would probably use the 12 linked slides idea (they can be hidden so you
can 'move on' with the presentation easily), covering each slide with a 99%
transparent box linked back to the original slide (or if the picture is full
screen, just link it). An alternative would be to use triggers, but with so
many pictures this can get hard to manage fast :-)

Thank you so much Lucy, that works a treat and has added another arrow to my
quiver! Every time I get complacent about how clever I am with these
applications, something comes up to remind me how little I do know.

I assume it's the middle of your Australian night and you are working hard
to let me have an easier tomorrow in Scotland. Thank you again.

So glad to help :-)

It's not even 9 here in Adelaide yet - where in Scotland are you? I lived in
Edinburgh for many, many years...
