Non existent drive

In *My Computer* there is listed:

CD Drive (J.)

It does not exist!
(all other letters are legitimate)
If I go to it's Properties, it reports:
Used space 0 bytes
Free space 0 bytes
Capacity 0 bytes
It does not appear in Device Manager, so how can I remove it please?

Have you a device plugged in with a memory card reader slot? Some printers
have them.

Aha....of course!
I recently bought my wife a Kodak C340 *Easyshare* camera complete with its
own dock/printer. No slot as such, but I reckon you have hit the nail on the
head!

I'll have to take some pix and siit thee camera on the printer to dee whay
appears in *J*.....

I'd never have thought of that one <g>
I feel really stupid nw :-)))
