My digital camera has an aspect ratio of 4:3. My printshop prints in
3:2. I don't like the cropping.. Is there a prog that ADDS (white)
bands on the short site to convert form 4:3 to 3:2?

Why not use a different printer? I like the Iomega Photo Printer - it's
small and easy to use. You can rearrange (drag) the photos on the layout
to minimize the wasted white space - even overlap them if you like
(WYSIWYG).

Program: Iomega Photo Printer

Ware: Freeware

Once again the amazing Irfanview (www.irfanview.com) comes through! Version
3.92 will let you add a border of any colour to your photos. (Image | Canvas
Size). Simply work out how much length you need to add to you photo to get
the proportions right.

Furthermore, this option is available under batch conversion so that you can
do a whole lot of photos in one go.

This program really does belong in the Freeware Hall of Fame. . .

Hi Susan,

Thanks for the input, but I prefer <<M>>'s suggestion because it
offers batch processing. I forgot to mention that.

A batch job won't do you much good in this case unless all the pics
are the same size. Otherwise, you'll have to calculate the canvas size
for each pic, which dictates that the canvas Width must = 1.5 x Height
of original pic.
