I am looking for a cheap colour inkjet which does NOT use bidirectional
comms. I want to wirelessly print using Bluetooth, but that uses
uni-directional comms.

Any suggestions?

Uh, Bluetooth is bidirectional.

OK, I stand corrected. However, when I asked Lexmark Technical Support how
I could connect my printer via Bluetooth, I got the following reply:

"Bluetooth requires unidirectional communication whereas all Lexmark printer
require Bi-directional communication.

Currently no Lexmark printers are Bluetooth compatible".

Any ideas anyone?

Lexmark makes printers that can be used with internal or external print
servers to directly connect to the network, which can then be used remotely
through a bluetooth access point, however, none of the cheap inkjets have
this capability because they require a special Windows driver to work (GDI).

You should be able to remotely print to it over the network
(bluetooth/ethernet/wifi) by configuring Windows to share the printer from
the PC that it's connected to. I refuse to buy GDI-only printers such as
Lexmark inkjets, so I can't help you with any specifics beyond that, sorry.
