anysuggestions?

Some suggestions

-Software keyboard: On-screen keyboard included with Windows. A third party
solution such as Message Ease. Their Tablet PC version is designed for pen
input but will work with a mouse: (http://www.exideas.com).

-Voice to text software such as Dragon Naturally Speaking. Menu commands
are supported in these programs.

-Hardware solution: Can be a bit costly but there are a variety of hardware
solutions such as this one: http://www.halfkeyboard.com/

Just replacing "Shift" is quite easy - press "Caps Lock"
before and after whatever you want to shift to uppercase.
(Also note that you have two "Shift" keys - you may be
able to reach one of them and the letter you want
"Shiftet" - both with your right hand).

But I'm guessing you might have other problems with
onehanded computeruse, like - Ctrl-Alt-Del for rebooting
can be a bit tricky. For that problem "Sticky Keys"
are helpful. You can find those in the accessibility
features (start - programs - accessories), I think.

(Somebody with an English version, help me out here -
what the correct sequence to start "Sticky Keys"?).

Best of luck with your health and your typing!

OK, thanks. Did I say something that sounded
like I thought you were stupid? I worry about
my english sometimes - maybe I'm impolite?
I think in danish and then translate - hoping it's
OK.

I'm in this newsgroup because my boyfriend has
paralysis - hoping I can both give and receive
some computer advice. Certainly I don't think
"stupid" about someone who has a disability...

Best wishes
