My problem is that my CPU fan is making a louder noise than usual. Its
sounds like a buzzing sound. I have switched off my machine and opened it up
and checked everything is seated right, and everything seems ok. But when I
gently turn the CPU fan with my finger it makes the noise. Its like a
gentle rapid ticking, which sounds like an electrical buzz. It cant be
electrical if the fan is off and it still makes it. I am worried that my
fan might give out. Anyone know what could be the problem. Thanks in
advance to anyone that can help.

Sounds like it's worn out... If it's a sleeve-bearing fan you might
put a drop of oil in it (peel back the sticker on the back) as an
interim measure to help keep it working while you find another fan.
