Noisy case fan

I have quieted down my case fan by detaching it from it's screwed on
position and hanging it using duck tape and long bag ties, from a short
distance above. It now hangs a very short distance from the front of the
case, very near it's original position but does not make the vibrating noise
it was making. I know this is not a real conventional or probably
recommended fix but it does seem to be working.

But IE is well known for accepting malformed pages. This helps it
to admit viruses and other security risks, and encourages purchase
of later OS versions with newer and shinier faults.

Ah, I see what it is. Mozilla Firefox does not convert backslashes to
forward slashes in URLs -- so it's not finding most of the images.

You have it backward. IE has problems with standards and
misinterprets backslashes.

Mozilla use the standard.
Microsoft use their own "standard".
